Why do we buy unwanted pallets?
Buying good condition used wood pallets helps to reduce timber wastage, as we repair the wooden pallets and hold them as stock. The recycled scrap pallets are sold to businesses that need a large amount of pallets for the storage of and delivery of their products.
This process of pallet recycling helps businesses with waste management (therefore improving their environmental credentials), save money and also prevents a significant number of wooden pallets that could have been repaired from going to waste.
When a company sells their pallets to us we repair pallets where necessary and are able to help other businesses save money buying repurposed pallets. This recycling reduces the need for new wood and saves trees.
